Open Space Issue & Strategy Sessions
"Open Space Technology" will be used throughout the convention and participants will be design sessions to meet their own needs. Open Space Technology is often used when 1) there are great differences of opinions, 2) the issues are complex, 3) there is huge diversity of players and 4) when there is urgency. This structured time will allow for groups with a common passion or individuals with burning questions that they invite others to explore. Groups may: have deeper discussion of policy issues, organize against budget cuts, plan for reconnecting regionally post-convention, prepare for the Town Hall Meeting.
