The National Coalition for Asian Pacific American Community
Development is the first national advocacy organization dedicated
to addressing the community development, organizing and advocacy
needs of the diverse and rapidly growing Asian American and Pacific
Islander communities nationwide.
Our mission is to be a powerful
voice for the unique community development needs of AAPI communities
and to strengthen the capacity of community-based organizations
to create neighborhoods of hope and opportunity.

National CAPACD Now Hiring Fall Interns!
We are currently seeking undergraduate or graduate students to work on
some of today's most important housing and community development issues
- particularly the national foreclosure crisis. Download

President Bush Signs "Housing and Economic Recovery Act of 2008"
On July 30th, President Bush signed H.R. 3221, the largest housing bill
in a generation that will provide mortgage relief to over 400,000
struggling homeowners. National CAPACD wants to thank all of its
members who have called their Congressmen to support this landmark
piece of legislation. read more

The
National CAPACD list serve consists of individuals, organizations,
intermediaries, federal agencies, and technical assistance providers
from across the country. It provides information on local issues
and initiatives, job opportunities, funding alerts, policy alerts,
and information on various trainings and resources relevent to Asian
American and Pacific Islanders community.
