As National CAPACD strategically grows our coalition, organizations can apply to formally join one of two categories. Read more below to understand which category – membership or amplifier – is right for your organization. If you are unsure which category your organization qualifies for, please reach out to membership@nationalcapacd.org to schedule a time to discuss further.
We channel resources to local organizations doing impactful work.
We connect our members to valuable opportunities and to one another, fostering the growth of their networks and cultivating their leadership.
We offer in-person and virtual spaces for AA and NHPI leaders, community development professionals, funders, and experts to connect, share insights, learn from one another, and collaborate to work toward a more equitable future.
We provide culturally relevant training and technical assistance to improve the lives of low-income AAs and NHPIs.
We make local work visible at the national level through advocacy efforts that center and elevate local voices. Our members shape and inform our national policy and research agenda. We also work with our members to shift the national narrative about low-income AA and NHPI communities by amplifying their stories, needs, and successes.
National CAPACD recognizes that organizations experience varying financial circumstances, and we do not want dues to be prohibitive. We offer organizations the option to pay as they can, and we invite you to choose the dues amount that fits your budget (we suggest that all organizations commit to paying a minimum of $50). If your organizational budget allows, please consider paying the full dues amount. Please refer to the guidelines below for organizations based on budget size.
